6 Changes in IBM Worklight 6.0

IBM Worklight once again has pushed a big release and this one is not short of great changes. Recently, we had a Worklight Wednesday on The Need for Mobile App Platform and What’s New in IBM Worklight 6. For those who were not able to make it, here is a quick look at some of the new features in IBM Worklight 6. There are definitely more than 6 updates and changes, but these 6 have stood out the most. Analytics DashboardAnalytics

What is new

  • IBM WebSphere Analytics Platform
  • Real time for indexing, analyzing, searching, and visualizing data
  • IBM Tealeaf CX Mobile integration (Tealeaf-ready)

The Benefit

  • Provide deep scale analytics to build easy to read graphs and reports
  • Provide faster response to changes and needs of applications from development down to distribution
  • Gather Geospatial and WiFi information

Location API

What is new

  • Geo events and profiling, triggering, background services, etc
  • Location API to ease custom geologic

The Benefit

  • Using JavaScript API makes it easier and faster to flesh out location based logic
  • Create more dynamic and location driven actions and policies
  • WiFi fence triggers can help continue tracking indoor regional policies for continued dynamic experiences
  • Provide a secure geofence for protected networks and data
